You can become a PSA Cadet as soon as you have completed your private pilot certificate and complete an interview for acceptance. Upon acceptance, you have many chances to receive mentorship from a current PSA pilot but also have multiple opportunities to become involved with internships while going through your training. After completion of your CFI, you can receive up to $5,000 in tuition reimbursement (coming from your new hire bonus) and will receive assistance with job placement as a CFI.

Upon meeting your ATP minimums, PSA will pay for your ATP/CTP program and cover all hotel and transportation costs incurred during your training. (most, if not all, airlines are currently offering to pay for CTP programs upon hire already.) When upgrading to a senior cadet slot, you can receive an additional $7,500 tuition reimbursement credit to help offset the cost of your previous flight training. PSA offers direct flow through to American in approximately 6 years with no additional interview required for PSA cadets.
