2024 ORBAA scholarship window open now

Update:

In addition to the $5000 aviation student scholarship, ORBAA is now offering two training opportunities for pilot students OR recently graduated pilot students (within 2 years):

  • 1 Citation Jet SIC Type Rating, courtesy of Flight Safety International
  • 1 ATP-CTP course, courtesy of CAE

Also of note: the application deadline has been extended to April 30, 2024.

The Ohio Regional Business Aviation Association (ORBAA) is awarding up to a $5,000 scholarship to students working towards a career in Business Aviation.

Application requirements include a one-page typed essay explaining why aviation is an important career path.

Finalists will be selected for personal interviews with a panel of business aviation professionals in the spring at a corporate flight department located in Columbus.

Finalists will also be given a VIP tour of local business aviation operations on the day of their interview in Columbus.
